Re-Charging the battery:

Each Video Brochure contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery that allows the videos to be played without the Video Brochure being connected to a power source.

With a charged battery, the Video Brochure can play videos for approximately 2 hours.

When the battery is empty, it will be indicated on the screen and the battery will need to be charged

Each Video Brochure has a USB connector and comes with a USB cable.

The PST Video Brochures can be equipped with different USB connector and USB cable according to customer’s choice.

The battery can be charged by connecting the supplied USB cable to the USB connector on the Video Brochure and using a 5V/1A power adapter to connect to a 220V socket.

The battery can also be charged by connecting the Video Brochure to a laptop or PC with the provided USB cable.

Re-using a PST Video Brochure.

If you want to re-use the Video Brochure for other business or private purposes, you can add the other videos or delete existing videos and replace them with other videos.

How to upload or delete videos from PST Video Brochure?

1 – Connect the Video Brochure to a PC or Laptop/Notebook computer using the supplied USB cable.

2 – When the Video Brochure is connected to a PC, it will appear on the screen in a new window as a USB drive. There may or may not be a folder called “Video”.

3 – Videos can then be added or removed from the Video Brochure by simply copying them to – or deleting from – the USB window or, if available, from the folder named “Video”.

4 – Use an .mp4 video format with an HD or so-called 720p resolution (1280×720 pixels) for the best quality and minimal memory use.

5 – If you copy a video to the Video Brochure that does not have enough memory space left, you will get a message on your PC, just like a normal USB drive: “There is not enough space”.

6 – To create more space, you can select another video on the Video Brochure and delete it (right click).

7 – After copying or uploading the video and disconnecting the Video Brochure from the PC, if the message “NO FILE” appears on the screen, the video format or video resolution is not correct and the video cannot be displayed . Use an .mp4 video format and a resolution of 720p (1280×720 pixels).

Video Brochures should NEVER be ‘formatted’ as this will remove the video playback driver and you will no longer be able to play videos on the Video Brochure. The Video Brochure can then only be repaired by returning it to PST.

Play videos in the desired order?

When multiple videos need to be played in a desired order on the Video Brochure, prepare as follows:

1 – Customize the titles of the videos to be played by adding 01., 02., 03., etc. to the beginning of the titles before copying them to the Video Brochure. The name of the videos will then be “01.title”, “02.title”, “03.title”, etc.

2 – Once the video has been copied to the Video Brochure and the cable has been disconnected from the PC, close and reopen the Video Brochure.

3 – The videos will now play in the order 01., 02., 03., etc.

4 – If video selection buttons are selected (video1, video 2, etc.), start with number 00. and then 01, 02, etc. Video 00. will then play when opening the Video Brochure and video 01. will be plays when you press the first button, video 02 plays when you press the second button, etc.

Charging battery

When connected to a PC with the supplied USB cable – to add or remove videos – the internal battery is automatically charged.
